My partner and I came to Tibet’s restaurant after a long day of driving back from the mountains and we were floored by the outstanding hospitality and service. Also helps that the food is yum yum like your Nepalese auntie made it - the dahl lentil soups were a healthy touch with our dinner entrees! This place has my heart and now it is our new standard for how restaurants should operate with so much care (and that’s why we saw so many regulars)! The main male waiter was kind to all guests and checked on us often asking us if we had any questions or needed more tea, spices, or water. We will be coming back and adding this restaurant to our recommendations list for our friends next time we visit Louisville!

We tried this place’s lunch buffet. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and quick to take away used dishes. Most important of all, the food was delicious and at a reasonable price.

We have been going here almost every weekend on a regular basis and we enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. My husband orders the buffet and I get the generous plate of vegetarian fried rice which starts with a delicious cup of dahl soup. There is a warmth that can be felt here and it's a wonderful dining experience.

Let me tell you a story. My brunch companion and I went to check out Huckleberry’s in the sweet town of Louisville, Colorado. From what I heard, they are the same owners of Dushanbe Teahouse (in Boulder)and the Chautauqua restaurant (at the well-known and loved Chautauqua, that boasts of scenic hiking trails and celebratory concerts), both serving delicious foods and soothing drinks. We trusted the food would be great. Because of this, and because it was on a Saturday, the wait was close to an hour. After ten minutes, a busser sat us at a table, serving us water. We thought we had it made in the shade. Ten minutes more and we were approached by the host, who insisted we leave to wait for our turn. My friend requested the manager who basically repeated the same thing only with a little more aplomb. We carried our waters with us to a bench where we sat uncomfortably for fifty minutes more. The environment made us both feel stressful and claustrophobic. The conversational voices in the restaurant carried throughout the old house, now a restaurant. We decided to leave and head for Tibet’s instead. The comparison was earth shatteringly different. Walking into Tibet’s was like a breath of fresh air. We were greeted with a big smile and were able to sit wherever we chose. The service was absolutely impeccable and respectful and the food, as always, was soothing to our souls. The comfort and feelings of worthiness generously given and made apparent by each server, cemented our decision by our choice to eat there, instead. And it just felt so good to be there.

The lunch buffet blew me away, it took all my willpower not to eat into a painful state. Tons of vegetarian options and everything was delicious. Also some of the most attentive staff I've ever seen, one waiter came over to take my first plate before I could even set it down from consolidating it's contents with my second.

Just had a delightful experience in town, enjoying some delicious MoMo. Although it seemed like the momo was frozen and steamed, it still tasted amazing with juicy fillings and a great sauce. The Tibetan noodle with Paneer was also satisfying, and the service was excellent.
